BCCI launched New Cricket Team Jersey 2017

BCCI has officially introduced the Indian Cricket Team Jersey 2017 for ODIs. Nike, which is the official jersey sponsors of the BCCI brought out the new kit after taking the insights from the likes of Dhoni, Kohli, Harmanpreet Kaur, and others. It is said that they are already impressed with Nike’s latest offering. For the fans, the jerseys will be made available on Nike stores across India from Thursday.

Defining the new Indian Cricket Team Jersey 2017, BCCI said, “From streets to stadiums, the jersey symbolises the pride for millions of cricket fans and provides inspiration to thousands of young cricketers who aspire to represent the country at the world stage”.

“The game has been evolving over the years and the need to have kits that are designed to suit the modern game has always been the priority for the team management and Nike. Features like the 4D quickness and Zero distractions will definitely help the team on the field”, are the MS Dhoni’s words on the latest Indian Cricket Team Jersey 2017.

The jersey sponsor Nike terms the new Indian Cricket Team Jersey 2017 as the most innovative team India apparel until now. The designers too insights from the Team India’s players to understand what suits their needs the most. According to this, the new jersey comes with an amazing feature called “4-Dimensional Quickness”.

The jersey also provides multi-directional and multi-dimensional stretch for quickness and this feature is termed to be “Tuned Mobility”. Its “Tuned Breathability” regulates the temperature to keep the cricketers cool. In order to minimise the distractions and maximise the performance on the field, there is this feature called “Zero Distractions”.

The captains of both the men and women Indian Cricket teams shared their experiences about their feel of the Jersey. “Cricket has taught me everything I know about life. I truly believe that sport helps shape your character as an individual; all you need is to believe in yourself. The self-belief that I learned on the field makes me believe that I can accomplish anything on or off the field”, Virat Kohli said.

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti released from detention after 14 months

Jammu, 13 Oct : Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti was on Tuesday released from detention. “PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti is being released from detention,” said Jammu and Kashmir administration spokesperson Rohit Kansal.

A government order issued on Tuesday night said her detention was being revoked with immediate effect.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration in July had extended her detention by three months under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
