New Delhi, 24 Oct : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated three projects in Gujarat including the Kisan Sarvodaya Scheme, under which the farmers will get electricity during the day for the irrigation purpose and said that Gujarat was first state to adopt policy for solar power generation.

New Delhi, 27 Nov : Even as the Delhi Police on Friday allowed farmers from Punjab, Haryana and elsewhere to hold a peaceful protest against the controversial Agriculture Bills at the Sant Nirankari ground in the capital’s Burari area, the farmers refused to leave Delhi-Haryana Sindhu border fearing that their protest would be “weakened”.
